A new home in a different country may give you cause for concern. If you have a young family, how will their education be? How is the health service? In Spain we are always reading of the problems with the health service and education in other countries.

We are pleased to say that as far as education is concerned, there are 11, high standard, English speaking, International Colleges where children from the earliest years to late teens can be well educated up to university standard. Bearing in mind the wonderful climate, the facilities at colleges are fantastic and children grow up as healthy, well educated, young Europeans.

When you live in Spain we would advise you that, unless you are working and paying Spanish social security, you take private health insurance. There are many excellent schemes available, all representing real value for money. If you should need the services of a GP or a specialist there are numerous first class clinics in every town, all at your disposal - without waiting!

There is even a scheme called Helicopteros Sanitarios where, for a modest fee you have the facility of an English speaking doctor, in a private ambulance, available to call on you at your home, normally within an hour, whenever you feel unwell, no matter how often you need a Doctor,they will be there! Hospitals are all highly equipped and the Marbella general is one of the finest in Spain.

Leisure Time

There is very little more that can be said about the joy of relaxing on this Coast. Miles and miles of golden sandy beaches, well served with friendly “Chiringuitos” and sophisticated Beach clubs. Away from the beach as well as golf there are excellent tennis clubs, leisure centres and facilities for every specialist sport, including shooting.
At night, nowhere in the world has dining facilities like this coast. There are literally thousands of high quality bars and restaurants. Whatever your palate, or pocket prefers, you will find it within easy reach. If you enjoy a flutter, there are Casinos. If you like entertainment, night clubs abound into the small hours. Pleasure is a 24-hour activity on the Coast!
